Dan Wagner, DAdidas07@hotmail.com, made this chart, and i've edited it a little:
This is my guitar-->piano chart (Changes guitar tabs into notes). It's the best I've done since I tried making them, so check this out and tell me if it works or not. *Bass strings at bottom* (be aware that some people write tabs the opposite way) E--6th String-----------------------E B----5th String---------------------B G------4th String-------------------G D--------3rd String-----------------D A----------2nd String---------------A E------------1st String-------------E An example:"A3" in the chart below, symbolizes a "3" in a guitar tab on the 2nd string (the A-string). As you can see from the chart, there are often several ways to play the very same note on a guitar, but only one way to play a note on the piano. Guitar: Piano: (octave in parenthese) E0 E (2) E1 F (2) E2 F#(2) E3 G (2) E4 G#(2) E5 A0 A (2) E6 A1 A#(2) E7 A2 B (2) E8 A3 C (3) E9 A4 C#(3) E10 A5 D0 D (3) E11 A6 D1 E (3) E12 A7 D2 F (3) E13 A8 D3 F#(3) E14 A9 D4 G (3) E15 A10 D5 G0 G#(3) A11 D6 G1 A (3) A12 D7 G2 A#(3) A13 D8 G3 B (3) A14 D9 G4 B0 C (4) A15 D10 G5 B1 C#(4) D11 G6 B2 D (4) D12 G7 B3 E (4) D13 G8 B4 F (4) D14 G9 B5 E0 F#(4) D15 G10 B6 E1 G (4) G11 B7 E2 G#(4) G12 B8 E3 A (4) G13 B9 E4 A#(4) G14 B10 E5 B (4) G15 B11 E6 C (5) B12 E7 C#(5) B13 E8 D (5) B14 E9 E (5) B15 E10 F (5) E11 F#(5) E12 G (5) E13 G#(5) E14 A (5) E15 A#(5)
